About Alaina
Alaina G. Oommen is a bright, positive, eleven-year-old who loves her family and storytelling through art, literature, dance, and music. Alaina is empathetic and loves to encourage, inspire, and build others up. She loves children, and this love is evident in the stories she writes, where she strives to share the wisdom she gained through personal experience facing and overcoming challenges at a young age.
Alaina has traveled to three continents and explored new cultures and traditions. At fourteen months of age, she visited a game reserve in Africa. At age six, she spent the night on a houseboat in the backwaters of Southern India. Although she has a palate for Italian food, given the chance, she would eat Sushi all day. She loves the beach, collecting shells, and swimming. Track is her favorite sport.
She lives in Texas with her parents and her younger brother, Ian. This is her first book.
About Ian
Ian M. Oommen loves his family, all things on wheels and donuts. He has been exploring the world of cars, race tracks, and Legos since he was two. He loves building anything that can roll on wheels. He brings his imaginary characters to life with five or five hundred Lego pieces. Ian loves discovering, creating, and inventing things. His biggest passion has been making riddles and telling jokes to anyone who will lend him an ear. He started drawing story characters with crayons at the young age of two. He loves entertaining his family with his jokes and riddles, especially on car rides. He started writing his first book in kindergarten. He shares his passionate work with the world by publishing his first book. His fun riddles and jokes keep us company as he takes us many places. Let’s hop on and hear what he is up to.
